Belgium-based FOS&S is a specialist in fibre optic sensing systems. With its roots going back to I.D. FOS Research, the company was founded in 2001 and has branches in Belgium and Hong Kong. Based on more than 15 years of experience as I.D. FOS Research, FOS&S is now able to supply and support a very wide technology portfolio regarding fibre optical sensing solutions

The company's dedicated engineering team operates worldwide, developing tailored sensing solutions for the aerospace, oil & gas, construction and mining industries. Relying on strong internal R&D and over a decade of in-field experience, FOS&S is able to deliver innovative sensing solutions for the most demanding environments, from oil pipelines and suspension bridges to nuclear waste repositories and highspeed rail tracks.


Fibre optic sensors offer significant advantages over conventional electronic sensors, especially in the demanding engineering environments where FOS&S specializes in.
