Objective
The aim of this project was the characterisation of the mechanical behaviour and settlements of old cavities in a salt mine on a depth of 1200 m. The objective of the project was to measure the total pressure in a backfill area. Total Pressure Monitoring Stations based on fibre optic polarimetric high pressure cells have been developed and installed.
